Volkswagen Virtus mid-size sedan to be launched in H1 2022- Reports

Volkswagen India has been testing the Virtus mid-size sedan in India for quite some time now. According to the latest reports, Volkswagen is expected to reveal the Virtus in India in February 2022 while the car will be launched in the country in April 2022. The car will replace the Vento sedan in India and will compete with the Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, and the upcoming Skoda Slavia in India. The Virtus will be based on the same MQB-A0 IN platform as the Taigun and Kushaq, with proportions larger than the Vento. Features on offer will include a 10.25” touchscreen system, digital driver display, and wireless phone charging. The car is expected to be offered with petrol engines only- 1.0/1.5-liter turbo petrol engines.
