Ultraviolette Electric Motorcycles production to start in Q1 2022

Ultraviolette Automotive, a Bengaluru-based start-up revealed its first electric motorcycle concept named F77 in 2019. The electric vehicle brand has revealed that the production of its first bike will commence in Q1 2022 at its new manufacturing and assembly facility near Electronics city, Bengaluru. The brand aims to start sales of the bike starting March 2022.
Manufacturing facility in Bengaluru
Ultraviolette Automotive has set up its manufacturing and assembly facility in Bengaluru, near Electronics City. The production facility will have an annual capacity of 15,000 units at the start, which will be increased to 1,20,000 units annually at a later stage.
Ultraviolette F77 specifications
The F77 claims to be a powerful electric motorcycle, with a top speed of 174kmph and a 0-100kmph time of 7.5 seconds. The bike will use 3 lithium-ion battery packs, with a maximum capacity of 4.2kWh. In terms of performance, the F77 will generate 33.5hp and 90Nm of torque, with a 130-150km electric range.
Ultraviolette F77 demands
Ultraviolette Automotive has revealed that the F77 electric motorcycle gained more than 40,000 booking interest from buyers from India and all around the world. The electric motorcycle will be highly localized, with more than 90 percent of parts being sourced locally.
