Rimac Nevera is officially the fastest accelerating road-legal production car
Croatian manufacturer Rimac’s Nevera hypercar has become the world’s fastest accelerating road-legal car. The Rimac Nevera set the record for the fastest quarter-mile on the Famoso drag strip, driven and recorded by Brooks Wieselbat. The Nevera completed the quarter-mile in 8.52 seconds, .1 second faster than the previous time. The car was riding on Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres, the standard production tyres for the car. The Rimac Nevera is powered by four electric motors coupled with 120kWh battery packs, making 1914bhp and 2340Nm of torque, with a 0-100kmph time of 1.85 seconds and a top speed of 412kmph.
