Nissan to stop making sedans in Japan
According to the latest reports, Nissan is planning to phase out sedans from its home market, Japan. The company will shift its focus on SUVs and Electric Vehicles. Currently, Nissan sells the Fuga, Cima, Slyphy, and Skyline in Japan. The manufacturer will use the Tochigi factory, which is currently used for the production of sedans, to manufacture the Ariya EV. This doesn’t come as a surprise as most manufacturers are focussing on SUVs and EVs these days.
