MG ZS to get a new 40kWh smaller battery pack
The smaller battery could bring down the cost of the EV in line with the Nexon EV
MG Motors is expected to launch a new variant for the MG ZS which will get a smaller 40kWh battery pack. The new battery pack could be offered as a new variant in the ZS electric line-up or could replace the current 44.5kWh battery pack. The smaller battery pack will bring down the electric range of the ZS EV, between 280-320km. The car is expected to take on the Nexon EV with a comparable range and a lower price tag. Currently, MG ZS electric competes with the Hyundai Kona electric in the Indian market.
