Hyundai’s all-electric city car arriving in 2023
Hyundai group will enter the electric city-car with a new Hyundai or Kia model
According to media reports, Hyundai Motor Group is working on an all-electric city car which will arrive by 2023. The car could be launched under the Hyundai, Kia, or Ioniq badge, but reports suggest that the car will use a Hyundai logo. The new electric car will enter production in 2023 and will use a new module that combines the gearbox and motor into a single bolt-in unit, thus saving space and reducing extra weight. The new city car will make 100hp and will be equipped with a 40kWh battery offering a range of around 300kms.
