Honda has filed a trademark application for the name ‘Elevate’ in India. The name could be used for a seven-seater SUV from Honda, based on the Honda N7-X Concept. The City-based seven-seater SUV will be revealed in international markets in August this year. The ‘Elevate’ could be powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology. If launched in India, it will freshen up Honda’s India portfolio which is being led by the City currently. The SUV is expected to be priced on par with the Hyundai Alcazar, MG Hector Plus, and the Tata Safari.
