Genesis reveals its first electric luxury vehicle- the GV60
Korean manufacturer Hyundai’s luxury sub-brand Genesis has revealed its first electric vehicle. The GV60 is based on the Hyundai group’s Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) on which the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6 are based too. The styling of the GV60 follows Genesis’ ‘Athletic Elegance’ design language, with split LED headlamps at the front, similar to other models, and a rather unconventional rear end with a fastback style and a fixed rear spoiler. The interiors are, however, more conventional, similar to other Genesis models. The GV60 gets digital side mirrors with displays on the doors. Powering the GV60 is expected to be a 58-77kWh battery making 577hp and 483km of electric range.
