
Zypp Electric to deploy 10,000 e-scooters in Bengaluru over next 2 months, plans to hire 5,000 delivery executives
According to a statement released on Tuesday by Zypp Electric, the business intends to introduce up to 10,000 electric scooters in Bengaluru over the next two months. There are currently 2,000 Zypp e-scooters on the roads, according to the electric mobility firm. Over the following two months, it said, the remaining 8,000 of these vehicles will be deployed. The action is a part of the company's previously disclosed ambition to expand services to 30 cities throughout the nation and increase the size of its fleet to 2 lakh e-scooters by 2025.In addition, Zypp Electric has hired 2,000 delivery executives in Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka. In addition, the electric transportation firm plans to employ approximately 5,000 more people in the next two months. According to the corporation, the new hires are intended to assist effective last-mile deliveries and increase job prospects in the gig economy.
