Yamuna Expressway to get time booths- fine on crossing in under 99 minutes
Cars crossing Yamuna Expressway in under 99 minutes will be fined soon. The authorities will set up time booths on the Jewar and Agra portions of the highway, which will track the time taken by each vehicle. A fine will be levied if a vehicle crosses the expressway before 99 minutes, and 124 minutes for heavy vehicles. The length of the Yamuna Expressway is 165kms and the maximum speed allowed is 100kmph.
