Volkswagen has unveiled its new small crossover Taigo for the international markets. The Taigo will be manufactured in Spain and will be sold in the European markets. The crossover is based on the VW Nivus and retains its coupe-like silhouette. As a result, the Taigo gets a less accomodating 438 litres of boot space, compared to T-Cross’ 455 liter. The interiors are shared with the Polo and T-cross, with a fully digital instrument cluster, a 6.5” touchscreen with an optional 9.2” touchscreen, both Apple Carplay and Android Auto compatible, and touch-sensitive climate control. The car is available with a 1.0-liter or a 1.5-liter petrol engine.
