Car manufacturers have regained their pace with the sales after rather slow sales for two months. In the month of July, Maruti Suzuki WagonR was the best-selling car in India, with 22,836 units sold. The WagonR was followed by the Swift (18,434), Baleno (14,729), Ertiga (13,434), Creta (13,000), Alto (12,867), Brezza (12,676), Dzire (10,470), Nexon (10,287), and Eeco (10,057) respectively. Interesting to note is that Tata motors crossed the 10k mark for the first time with the Nexon, beating the Korean cousins Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonet.
