Simple Energy One scooter bags 30,000 bookings in 4 days
On India’s 75th Independence day, Bengaluru based electric start-up simple energy launched its first electric scooter- The Simple Energy One. The scooter is priced at Rs.1.10 lakh before state subsidies, and will cost lesser when combined with benefits different states have to offer on electric vehicles. What’s interesting is that the One got 30,000 bookings in just 4 days after its launch. The scooter can be booked at an amount of Rs.1947 online, and the deliveries are expected to start in late 2021. The Simple Energy One faces competition from other e-scooters such as the Ather 450X, Bajaj Chetak, TVS i-Qube, and the recently launched Ola electric scooter.
