Royal Enfield 650cc development starts at UK Tech Centre
Royal Enfield is working on a 650cc version of the Himalayan adventure bike. The current Himalayan uses a 411cc SOHC engine which is on the heavier side. The 650cc engine with a parallel twin motor will produce 47bhp and 52Nm of peak torque, notably better than the current versions 24.5bhp and 32Nm of torque. The new Himalayan will be developed at Royal Enfield’s testing center in the United Kingdom.
