Only electric cars in Canada from 2035
Canada is aiming zero emissions in the country by 2050. The country has announced the only electric cars will sell from 2035 onwards, and all IC-engines cars will be discontinued. Presently, electric cars account for only 3.5% of the total vehicle sales in Canada. The government will invest more in electric technologies, including new factories and better charging infrastructure, and consumer rebates to boost EV sales.
