The booking amount for the scooter was set to Rs.999.

Ola Electric revealed its first electric scooter for the Indian market, with claims on making electric mobility more accessible in India. The Ola S1 and S1 Pro will go on sale today from 6 pm, for all the customers who have booked the electric scooter from the company’s website. Ola S1

The Ola S1 is priced at Rs.99,999 after FAME-II subsidies, but excluding state subsidies. The S1 has an electric range of 121km on a single charge, with a top speed of 90kmph. The scooter generates 8.5kW of peak power, with an impressive 0-40kmph time of 3.6 seconds. The scooter gets two driving modes- Normal and Sports. The Ola S1 is available with a choice of 5 colors.

Ola S1 Pro

As the name suggests, the S1 Pro variant comes with more power and electric range. The Ola S1 Pro is priced at Rs.1,29,999 after FAME-II subsidies but before state tax benefits. The S1 Pro has a claimed electric range of 181km, with a top speed of 115kmph. There is no bump in the peak power, which remains identical to the S1 at 8.5kW, but the S1 Pro has a 0-40kmph time of 3 seconds, .6 seconds faster than the S1. The S1 Pro gets three driving modes- Normal, Sports, and Hyper. The scooter is available in 5 extra colors.
