Mumbai gets India’s largest public EV charging facility

India’s largest public EV charging station has been opened in Navi Mumbai. Magenta, a Mumbai-based company has opened the charging facility which consists of 21 chargers- 4 DC chargers and 17 AC chargers. The DC chargers can be used for fast charging, while the AC chargers allow overnight charging too. Magenta group plans to install a total of 4000 chargers by the end of this year, with a Rs. 55 crore CapEx. Installation of charging facilities and the rising fuel prices will lure customers towards Electric Vehicles
