Mitsubishi has confirmed the new Outlander Plug-in Hybrid Vehicle based on the new-generation car. The PHEV model is expected to use a bigger battery, thus giving it more electric range combined with the gas range. The new Outlander PHEV will look similar to the IC engine variant, with an upright face with split LED headlamps, a massive chrome and piano black grille, and slim LED taillights. Unlike the regular Outlander, the PHEV will be offered with 3-row of seating in 6 or 7 seat configurations.
