Mercedes-AMG’s first plug-in hybrid car revealed
The Mercedes AMG GT63 S E Performance makes 831hp
Mercedes has launched its first plug-in hybrid car, the GT63 S E Performance. Powering the car is a 4.0-liter V8 engine and a 6.1kWh battery pack with an electric motor making 831hp and 1400Nm of torque. As a result, the car has a 0-100kmph time of 2.9 seconds with a top speed of 315kmph. But despite the electric motor, the car gives only 12km of electric range. The AMG GT63 S E Performance features AMG Ride Control plus with adaptive suspension. The car rides on 20" wheels with optional 21" wheels.
