Lewis Hamilton’s first GP winning F1 car sold

Lewis Hamilton’s first F1 Grand Prix-winning McLaren MP4-25A has been auctioned for a price of £4.83 million at the RM Sotheby’s auction, driven by Lewis at the 2010 Turkish Grand Prix. The car has become the first car driven by Hamilton to be sold at an auction. The car sold, is the second most expensive car to be auctioned after Michael Schumacher’s 2001 Ferrari F2001, sold in 2017 at the same RM Sotheby auction for £5.5 million. The auctioned F1 car is powered by a Mercedes 2.4-liter V8 engine with Chassis Number 01.
