To increase the adoption of EVs in the state, Gujrat Government has announced their new EV policy, which will provide incentives of up to ₹ 10,000 per kWh. The benefits can be availed for electric 2-wheelers with a maximum ex-factory price of up to ₹1.5 lakh, electric 3-wheelers costing a maximum of ₹5 lakh, and ₹15 lakh for electric 4-wheelers. These benefits come in addition to the revised FAME II policy for electric vehicles. The Gujrat Government is targeting a total of 2,00,000 (all categories) vehicles under this scheme.
