BMW India discontinues these variants of 5 Series sedan, offers two new options

BMW India has made changes its series of luxury sedan, the 5 Series, without any official announcement. The automaker has discontinued three variants - the 520d Luxury Line, 530d M Sport, and 50 Jahre M Edition. As a result, the 5 Series is now only offered in two variants - the 530i M Sport and the 520d M Sport. The ex-showroom prices of these variants are ₹65.40 lakh and ₹68.90 lakh, respectively, in India.
Even though the current 5 Series is only offered in a few configurations, it will continue to be on sale for a while. The debut of the next-generation model is slated for later this year in all markets, with an Indian launch scheduled for 2023. Since the 5 Series is one of BMW's most well-liked models in India, it is likely to be met with a lot of enthusiasm. Additionally, BMW intends to launch the new electric 5 Series model, the i5, in India the following year. The manufacturer is getting ready to introduce the X3 M40i next month in the meantime.
