Back in the day- Rebadged Tata Indica introduced as the CityRover

21 years back, on July 8, 2000, MG Rover introduced the City Rover hatchback which was based on the Indian Tata Indica. The car was sold by the British manufacturer MG Rover from 2003 onwards, starting at a price of £6,495. Powering the car was a Peugeot sourced 1.4-liter 4-cylinder engine capable of producing 89bhp and a top speed of 100mph. The car was not well received by the market in spite of its good cabin and performance.
