Back in the day: Lincoln’s full-size luxury SUV
Ford-owned Luxury car brand Lincoln revealed its first full-size luxury SUV, named the Lincoln Navigator, on July 1, 1997. The car was sold primarily in North America. It was based on the Ford Expedition, having the largest cargo capacity in a Lincoln and also the first non-limousine Lincoln that could seat more than six people. Lincoln Navigator is the heaviest production car built by Lincoln.
